Oil paintings are supplied professionally framed unless stated otherwise. Watercolour and pastel works are supplied without frames – with a mount and backing board, encased in a cellophane wrapper. This is owing to the difficulties involved in sending glazed pictures through the post.

An old fashioned perfume bottle was the inspiration for this richly layered and textured painting. The deep colours, including generous flashes of gold, give a feeling of luxury and opulence to the piece. The atmosphere created is suggestive to me of La Belle Epoque and a temptation to indulgence!
