At last I have the old log burner from the sitting room installed in my studio so I am back at the easel! It really does make a huge difference I couldn’t work out in what is essentially a wooden hut without heat and it certainly stops things getting too damp.
However my precious paintings are all stored in the house now just to be on the safe side. And of course it doesn’t take the dogs long to work out there’s a cosy fire to doze in front of.
So back to work and a colour sketch for a Christmas commission painting – a dog portrait which will be a total surprise for the recipient. Best brush forward then…..
